Topsfield - Torrential rain threatened to make the last day of the Topsfield Fair a complete wash out. Based on the buckets and buckets of rain coming down earlier in the day, I wouldn’t have been surprised if all those plastic ducks in the blue wading pools dotted around the midway had floated away. But thankfully, by lunchtime much of the rain had stopped and it was nice enough to wander around the fairgrounds one last time this year.

Brother and Sister Band say “WOW” to their
Hollywood Experience

They started performing at festivals in their home town and at local talent shows, and this month will be opening performers for Drake Bell, star of Nickelodeon’s television show, Drake & Josh, at a charity fundraiser concert in Pittsburgh, PA. The concert, scheduled for August 26th, will benefit the Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and additionally will raise funds to help the families of Marines who have lost family members in Iraq. Michael and Marisa, 8 and 9 years old, have a brother and sisterly love for music and performing.

Michael, 7, of Massachusetts will be performing Oct. 1 at 11:00 a.m. opening day of the Topsfield Fair, on the Grange Building Stage. Michael plays the electric guitar and sings from a variety of music genres from the 1950s to present day pop rock. His credits include performances on a cruise ship, local entertainment establishments, and music festivals.
